ASSOCIATION OF ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRACTITIONERS OF NIGERIA CELEBRATES HER 10TH ANNIVERSARY (5TH SEPT., 2008 -5TH SEPT.,2018.)

The Association of Organic Agriculture Practitioners of Nigeria, formerly known as Nigeria Organic Agriculture Network (NOAN) gradually evolved as far back as 2008 celebrates her 10th anniversary, a decade of advocacy for sustainable agriculture and economic exploration void of environmental degradation and health hazard. The Association finally got registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Abuja in 2012 under the name of Association of Organic Agriculture Practitioners of Nigeria. The Association is actively involved in on-going continental projects such as Ecological Agriculture Project Initiative (EOA-I) and Forum for Agriculture Research in Africa (FARA), Organic Agriculture Innovation Platform and well aligned to the AU-Department of Rural Economy and Agriculture (DREA) agenda. The Association has its members drawn from the six geo-political zones of Nigeria with members involved in Organic Agribusinesses, Research, Policy advocacy and Production.

10 hearty cheers to the Board, the Executive Members and other well-wishers of the Association.  The Association welcomes intending pro-organics and the general public who wish to be part of our great network. We are 10 and still counting.

Organic is life, live and love organic.
