 ORGANIC AGRICULTURE: PRINCIPLES, PRACTICES AND
ENTREPRENEURSHIP: The goal of this Training of  Trainers (ToT) is to train agriculture officers, researchers, extension officers, academics and lead- farmers on the principles and practices of organic agriculture in a practical way in order to be able to train others.

Aims of the training

The goal of this TOT is to train agriculture officers, researchers, extension officers, academics and lead- farmers on the principles and practices of organic agriculture in a practical way in order to be able to train others.

To educate agricultural practitioners business managers, researchers, academics, extension and agricultural officers and lead farmers on principles and practices of organic agriculture

Improve organic agriculture business drive in the country
Boost production capacity of agricultural producers towards local and export market with increase in supply of organic agriculture produce.

At the end training, the following are expected from the participants:
– A good understanding of organic agriculture andits concept

– How to run successful organic agriculture enterrises
-Trainees should be able to train others
– Trainees should be able to provide basic extension assistance to other practitioners with the value
chain of organic agriculture

High level managers of agricultural enterprises, training units of academics institutions and extension service providers, holding a minimum of a National Diploma and in position to training other people within the sector as categorized:

Agriculture Officers
Researchers,
Extension officers,
Academics and
Lead- farmers
